HELLO!
I’m Vandana and I’m delighted to be heading The Sommer School, Whitefield, Bangalore. I have been with the schooling industry for over a decade with extensive experience in teaching, hiring right talent and shaping young minds in various International preschools in the city. In addition, I have been very actively involved in age specific curriculum designing & execution, strategy & planning and I come with over 20+ years of total work experience. I love being with children as it energizes me. To work with children I become like one, hence, I find it easy to connect with them and they enjoy the attention. In addition, I am also a certified Life Skills coach (Parivartan, Indiranagar, Bangalore) a certified counselor for teens and parents (Banjara Academy, RT Nagar, Bangalore), Art Therapist for abused and special needs children (Banjara Academy, RT Nagar, Bangalore). I am also a volunteer counselor with the Juvenile home for children (Madiwala, Bangalore). In my spare time I enjoy travelling, gardening, reading and writing and spending time with my family ad pets.
