Qualification: M.A. (Literature), Schooling, and college in Coimbatore, T.N.
3 decades of teaching experience with top international schools in the city.
Worked in the Department of English in a prestigious college in Chennai from 1971-76. I have also worked in American Community Bangalore (now called Bangalore International School) as a kindergarten teacher from 1976-1984. I was closely associated with Mallya Aditi School, the first international school in Bangalore. I also worked in the ESL department. I have attended several NESA (Near East South Asia) workshops to upgrade skills and apply them in the classroom for successful results.

Hobbies: Yoga, art, music, gardening, and outdoor games

Conducted various workshops in The Sommer School, Whitefield, and various other schools on teaching skills, how to handle gifted children and bring out the best in them, and implementing best industry practices based on the experience I have accumulated, etc.
Working with children has brought me much joy throughout my career in this field. I feel blessed to have influenced so many children and I feel pride in seeing them all well-placed in their lives.
I am very excited to be a part of The Sommer School and looking forward to a wonderful partnership with the team.
